to maintenance, we guarantee reliable, outstanding fire protection
services to help you meet National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)
codes. Our six fire protection offices are located in Indianapolis,
Ind., Milwaukee, Wis., Orlando & Ft. Myers,
Fla., Pittsburgh, Pa., and Youngstown,
Ohio.
Our capabilities include CAD or manual drafting design with the assistance
of our engineering services team. In addition, we install fire and
smoke detection systems and fire suppression systems such as wet and
dry sprinklers, fire pumps, fire extinguishers and kitchen hoods.
Our engineering services staff will examine your needs and hazard
requirements and design a system that meets all owner, insurance and
certification requirements. We have extensive experience with phased
construction and working in occupied facilities. In addition, we offer
full-service fabrication facilities and are able to certify your system
with the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies
(NICET).
 We
also provide alternative fire protection and special hazard systems
including deluge, preaction, foam, CO2,
dry chemical powders and clean agent gas. In addition, Grunau installs
a number of fire detection devices, including heat responsive, smoke,
infrared, ultra-violet and combustible vapor.
We will work as your advocate, finding creative ways to meet your
needs while cutting costs, not value. Our seamless work will provide
a complete solution to all your fire protection needs.
Fire Protection Maintenance
After a system is designed and installed, we ensure its long-term
reliability through an intensive, regularly scheduled maintenance
program delivered by the Grunau service and maintenance team. We have
the capability to test wet and dry systems, fire pumps and controls
and special hazard and detection systems to ensure your equipment
remains up to NFPA codes. We have experience with insurance carriers,
insurance testing and inspection requirements. Our experienced service
technicians offer 24-hour emergency assistance, and our fully-equipped
vehicles ensure a rapid response.
