    Ted is the executive vice president of Grunau Company, a position he has held since 1990. Ted oversees operations in the Orlando and Ft. Myers fire protection offices and handles all insurance, safety, labor and legal issues. He also is responsible for the Lean Construction program throughout the company, a construction philosophy that seeks to maximize value and minimize waste. Ted joined Grunau in 1977 as a project manager. Ten years later, he was promoted to vice president of operations, where he was responsible for planning, productivity and cost control of all Grunau Company field and shop operations. Ted holds a plumber?s license in the state of Wisconsin, Florida and New York City. He also has attended Milwaukee Technical Vocational School, Milwaukee Technical School and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He recently completed the Lean master facilitator program at Milwaukee School of Engineering. He is a member of the Sheet Metals and Air Conditioning Contractors National Association-Wisconsin (SMACNA) Labor Committee and Board of Directors.

    Ken is a project manager at Grunau Company, a position he has held since 1975. His many responsibilities include initial project design, budgeting and coordination, supervision of estimations and billings. Ken also completes the final project design and detailing and oversees the project management of the entire team. Ken graduated from the Indian Institute of Engineers, Calcutta, India, with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. Currently, he is a state of Wisconsin licensed professional engineer, registered heating contractor in Madison, Wis., and a licensed air conditioning contractor in Florida. Ken also is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and the Wisconsin Healthcare Engineering Association (WHEA).

    Mark is the vice president and division manager of Grunau Metals, a position he has held since 1996. As vice president, he oversees the engineering staff, shop operations and field installation. He also is actively involved in all aspects of project management. Effective March 2010, Mark has added to his role as the Milwaukee Branch Manager. His responsibilities will include oversight of all the Milwaukee based operations. Mark began his career with Grunau in 1978 as a sheet metal fabricator before working as the foreman of the sheet metal shop. In 1981, he was promoted to general foreman of the miscellaneous metals shop where he reorganized the shop's structure to create greater efficiency. Prior to his work at Grunau, Mark completed his apprenticeship with the Sheet Metal Workers International Association through Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) at Artkraft Signs. He later worked for Brenner Corporation as a journeyman sheet metal worker. He is currently a member of the National Ornamental and Miscellaneous Metals Association (NOMMA).

    Jeff is the chief financial officer (CFO) for Grunau Company, a position he has held since 1992. Leading a team of accountants, administrative and technology staff, Jeff is responsible for all financial, tax, treasury, credit and information technology at Grunau. Prior to joining Grunau as the CFO, Jeff worked as part of the company's outside financial advisory team for 8 years. As a member of the Deloitte & Touche team, one of the nation's largest financial consulting firms, he also was involved with other clients from large multinational public companies to small privately held contractors. A 1984 University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee graduate, Jeff holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and became a certified public accountant in 1996. Jeff is a member of several professional organizations including the American and Wisconsin Institutes of Certified Public Accountants, the American Subcontractors Association and Construction Financial Managers Association. Jeff is currently a member of the board of directors for the Construction Financial Managers Association, Milwaukee Chapter (CFMA) and American Subcontractors Association - Milwaukee Chapter. Jeff is CFMA's immediate past president. He also is a Certified Construction Financial Professional (CCFP).

    Jeffrey is a project executive / senior HVAC engineer for Grunau Company's Engineering Services department, where he is responsible for the management and leadership of the design and project management team. He also is a member of Grunau's Safety Committee and Lean Team. The Lean Team is a committee that implements "lean"construction philosophies that seek to maximize value and minimize waste. Jeffrey joined the Grunau team in 1989 as an HVAC engineer. In 1995, he took on a project management role, becoming thoroughly involved in engineering jobs from their design and development phase to completion. Before his work at Grunau, Jeffrey worked as an HVAC project engineer with HNTB, a national transportation planning, engineering and design firm. Jeffrey graduated in 1985 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. He recently completed his master's of business administration from the UW. Jeffrey is currently a licensed professional engineer, and member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). Jeff passed the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) examination, recognizing him as an expert in green building techniques for new commercial construction and major renovation projects.

    Ron is the vice president of Grunau Company?s Engineering Services department, a position he has held since 1993. As vice president, Ron plays an active role in the construction of projects from start to finish. He is responsible for the final system design, equipment selection and cost and development of schedules. Ron has been with Grunau for over 30 years. He started as a senior design engineer in 1976 before becoming a project manager in 1981. Ron is a registered HVAC designer and a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers and the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).

    Larry Loomis is president of Grunau Company, Inc., a mechanical contracting, specialty metal fabricating and engineering firm, located in Oak Creek, Wis., with fire protection branch offices in Indianapolis, IN, Youngstown, OH, Pittsburgh, PA, Orlando and Ft. Myers, FL. Larry assumed his role in 2009. As president, Larry provides leadership to the Grunau team in the implementation and execution of the company’s strategy to offer unique, personable service. He acts as a coach and mentor to the Grunau staff, providing support and advice as they build and maintain the positively different customer relationships that are the cornerstone of Grunau Company. Larry joined the Grunau Company team as a project manager in 1990. He was later promoted to Project Executive with the Milwaukee mechanical division where he was responsible for all facets of mechanical construction operations, including initial project design, budgeting, coordination and supervision of estimations, final design and detailing, billings, and project management of the entire team. Larry graduated in 1989 from Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering. He later received his master’s in mechanical engineering from Marquette University and completed an executive master’s of business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2003. Larry is a licensed professional engineer and master plumber in the state of Wisconsin. He is also a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers and the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).

    As the vice president of Grunau Company's service department, Chuck is responsible for the supervision of the sales and technician teams and dispatch personnel. He also maintains customer relations with over 500 businesses. Chuck joined the company in 1973 as a project clerk. Soon after, he was promoted to various leadership positions, including project manager, business manager and purchasing business manager. Chuck also worked with Grunau's fire protection division, serving as office manager of the Orlando office and fire protection controller. Chuck is a University of Wisconsin-Stout graduate with a bachelor's degree in industrial technology/building construction.

    George is the plumbing manager at Grunau Company, a position he has held since joining the team in 1997. He is responsible for the plumbing department, including the conceptual design of onsite utilities and interior mechanical installations. He coordinates the 24-hour emergency plumbing service and assists in bid estimation. George joined Grunau Company with 20 years of experience. He began as an apprentice at R.A. Bachman Company, where he eventually became vice president. He later worked as a foreman for Bohnman and Vick.

Don started working at Grunau in 1992 as a plumbing foreman with over 20 years experience. He trained as an apprentice at R.A. Bachman Company before working there as a laborer and plumbing foreman. He is a state of Wisconsin licensed master plumber.

    Kyle is a project manager focused on electrical and pneumatic temperature control work. He supervises the electricians and pneumatic steamfitters, and is responsible for electrical equipment purchases, scheduling, estimating and billing. Kyle is also a member of the Grunau Company Safety Committee. Kyle started his career with Grunau in 2002. He has 20+ years of experience in the electrical business. He is a licensed master electrician in the state of Wisconsin and has a Milwaukee electrical contractor’s license. Kyle also is a licensed Wisconsin commercial electrical inspector. He is a member of the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) Electrical Section and the International Association of Electrical Inspectors.

    Jessica joined the Grunau Company team in 2003 as a design engineer. She is responsible for HVAC and plumbing systems CAD drafting, and creation of shop drawings. Jessica also is involved in system design and layout from the initial stages though project completion. She develops custom, site specific equipment and operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals for use in the office, the field and by system owners. In addition, Jessica assists with project management of prominent jobs. Jessica graduated from the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) with two bachelor degrees, one in architectural engineering, specializing in building environmental systems, and the other in construction management. In 2005, Jessica passed the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) examination, recognizing her as an expert in green building techniques for new commercial construction and major renovation projects. She is a member of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE) and the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).

    Dennis is the excavation supervisor for Grunau Company, a position he has held since 1990. Dennis is responsible for all underground utility work including digging for plumbing, heating, water and electric lines, and sewer and sanitary systems. He also supervises manpower and equipment for excavation projects. In addition, Dennis oversees the response to Grunau's 24-hour emergency service for water main breaks. Dennis joined the Grunau team in 1969 as a field excavation laborer. He later worked as a foreman, overseeing large projects for Miller Brewing Company in North Carolina and New York. After assisting the plumbing and excavation supervisor for 5 years, Dennis accepted his current position. He holds a restrictive journeyman plumbing license in the state of Wisconsin.

    Doug joined the Grunau Company team in 2002 with more than 30 years of HVAC experience. As a senior HVAC engineer, Doug is responsible for the HVAC design of commercial, industrial and institutional buildings from the concept through completion. He also works on the engineering components of traditional plan and spec projects. In addition, Doug assists construction and service groups with troubleshooting advice. Doug previously worked as an HVAC design engineer at two Wisconsin mechanical contracting companies. A state of Wisconsin licensed designer, he also is a licensed heating contractor in the city of Waukesha and is State of Wisconsin HVAC Qualified. Doug is a certified supervisor from the National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB), is the treasurer of the Wisconsin Environmental Balancing Bureau (WEBB), and is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). Doug passed the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) examination, recognizing him as an expert in green building techniques for new commercial construction and major renovation projects.

Travis had previously worked as an estimator, engineer, and project manager at another Wisconsin mechanical contractor since 1997. Travis graduated from the Milwaukee School of Engineering with bachelor’s degrees in Architectural Engineering and Business Management. Travis is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Wisconsin. He is also a member of American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).

He has worked as a journeyman, foreman and steamfitter superintendent for the company.

Mike started his career with Grunau in 2005. He has 20+ years of experience in mechanical construction and has managed various disciplines including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and site utilities at all levels of management throughout his career. Mike has his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.

    Bob is a sheet metal/piping operations manager for Grunau Company and is responsible for all field manpower and coordination of materials and equipment to job sites. In addition, he researches efficient sheet metal duct system methods and assists in project estimation and management of job deadlines. Bob serves on Grunau Company's Lean Construction committee, a construction philosophy that seeks to maximize value and minimize waste, and is a member of the Grunau Company safety committee. Bob started as a pre-apprentice with Grunau in 1987 before completing a five-year apprenticeship with the company in both its sheet metal shop and the field. He later worked as a foreman for 11 years before accepting his current position in 2003. Prior to joining the Grunau team, Bob worked for a construction company and attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) for one year.

Dave joined the Grunau team in 1995 as a service technician. With over 20 years of HVAC service and maintenance training, he holds an associate's degree from Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC). After graduating in 1986, he completed a four-year state indentured apprenticeship in Wisconsin Rapids.

    Dean is a service sales representative with Grunau Company, a position he has held since 2005. His responsibilities include estimation of service and maintenance projects and project management. Dean also services existing clients and cultivates new customers. Dean joined the Grunau team in 2003 as a plumbing service technician and foreman for small to medium sized projects. He began his career over twenty years ago in the Water Conditioning field, where he received his Wisconsin Master Plumbers Restricted Appliance license. He served a full apprenticeship in plumbing and now currently holds a Wisconsin Master Plumbers License and a Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Well Pump Installers License. Dean also studied HVAC and holds an EPA refrigerant handling license as well as other design credentials in the HVAC field.

    Dan is a project manager for Grunau Metals. He is responsible for project execution, profitability, fabrication oversight, as well as new customer development. Dan joined the Grunau Metals team in 2009 and brings 10+ years structural engineering background, as well as construction project management experience. Dan has obtained his professional engineers (P.E.) license and has passed the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) examination, recognizing him as an expert in green building techniques for new commercial construction and major renovation projects.

    Scott is a project manager for Grunau Metals. He is responsible for project coordination on many levels, including budget control, drawing submittal and approval processes, vendor communications, material management and procurement, fabrication oversight, installation and field coordination, customer satisfaction and overall project execution. Scott also is responsible for daily management of customer relations as well as building a foundation for success for new customers. Scott has been with Grunau Metals since 2007 and brings 10+ years architectural experience with him.

    Gary is the fabrication shop manager for Grunau Metals. He is responsible for day to day operations of the shop as he manages projects from inception to completion. Gary is also responsible for forming new customer relationships and maintaining current ones. Gary has participated in numerous Grunau Company Lean events, a construction philosophy that seeks to maximize value and minimize waste, and was a member of the Grunau Company Safety Committee. Gary has been with Grunau Metals for 30+ years. He began in 1978 as a sheet metal worker before accepting his current position in 1996.

    Brad is operations manager of Grunau Metals with the responsibility of overseeing the daily operations of the entire Grunau Metals team. These duties include oversight of daily estimating, engineering and project management activities, as well as shop and field operations. Additionally, Brad is actively involved in project management and estimating. Brad joined the Grunau Metals team in 2007. He is a member of the Grunau Safety Committee. He has worked in the HVAC and steel industry for 20+ years prior to joining Grunau. Brad served in the U.S. Air Force for a term of 8 years where he gained valuable knowledge of sheet metal fabrication as an Airframe Repair Technician.
