Larry Loomis, P.E.

Larry Loomis, P.E.

President

Larry became president of Grunau Company in 2009, and provides leadership to the entire Grunau team across 9 business units and 8 specialty trades in 5 states.

Larry guides the company's strategy to offer unique, personable service. He acts as coach and mentor to the staff as they build and maintain the positively different customer relationships that are the cornerstone and focus of Grunau Company.

Larry joined the Grunau team as a project manager in 1990. He was later promoted to project executive and branch manager where he was responsible for all facets of mechanical construction operations, including design, budgeting, coordination and supervision of estimations, detailing, billings, and project management.

Larry graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor's degree in construction engineering, and from Marquette University with his master's in mechanical engineering. He also completed an executive master's of business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Larry is a licensed professional engineer and master plumber in the state of Wisconsin. He is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers, American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), and Young Presidents Organization (YPO).


Ted Angelo

Ted Angelo

Executive Vice President

As Grunau's executive vice president since 1990, Ted handles all insurance, safety, labor and legal issues, and oversees operations in the Orlando and Fort Myers, FL offices. He is also responsible for Lean Construction throughout the company, a construction philosophy that seeks to continually examine processes to provide greater value to customers without waste.

Ted joined Grunau in 1977 as a project manager/engineer working on projects such as hospitals and breweries throughout the country. Ten years later, he was promoted to vice president of operations, where he was responsible for planning, productivity, and cost control of all Grunau operations.

Ted attended Milwaukee Technical School and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He completed WCM Associates' Lean Master Facilitator program at Milwaukee School of Engineering. He is also an authorized OSHA Construction Outreach Trainer from the National Safety Education Center.

Ted holds a plumber's license in the state of Wisconsin and Florida. He is a member of the Sheet Metal & Air Conditioning Contractors National Association-Wisconsin (SMACNA) Labor Committee and Board of Directors. Ted also serves on the Board of Directors for Churchill Casualty LTD (insurance), and is Chairman of the Lean Construction Institute (LCI), Central Florida Chapter.


Mark Gall

Mark Gall

Vice President, Milwaukee Branch Manager

Mark oversees the Milwaukee mechanical, service, and metals engineering staff, shop operations and field installation. He is also actively involved in all aspects of project management.

Starting at Grunau in 1978 as a sheet metal fabricator, Mark was later promoted to sheet metal shop foreman. In 1981, he became general foreman of the miscellaneous metals shop where he reorganized the shop's structure to create greater efficiency. By 1996, he led Grunau Metals as division manager and in 2010, Mark was named Branch Manager over all of the Milwaukee branch operations.

Mark is a member of the National Ornamental and Miscellaneous Metals Association (NOMMA).


Bob Harlow

Bob Harlow

Bob started with Grunau Company in 1985 as a sprinkler designer. In 1997, he was promoted to manager of the Indianapolis Fire Protection division.

Bob plays an active role in all branch activities including estimating, project management, and design for both construction and service work. He also oversees the Indianapolis field and office team.

He holds a degree in Architectural Engineering from ITT Technical Institute and is NICET Level IV certified.

Bob is a member of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).


Jeffrey A. Hintze, CPA CCIFP

Jeffrey A. Hintze, CPA CCIFP

Chief Financial Officer

As CFO for Grunau Company since 1992, Jeff leads our team of accounting and technology staff, and is responsible for all financial, tax, treasury, credit, human resource and information technology at Grunau. Jeff is also the Company's Ethics Officer.

Jeff is a frequent presenter of internal training seminars on topics that range from basic accounting and business topics to contracts and risk management, and serves as an internal business resource for our many employees. Prior to joining Grunau, he worked as part of the company's outside financial advisory team for 8 years.

A University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee graduate, Jeff holds a bachelor's degree in accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP).

Jeff is a member of the American and Wisconsin Institutes of Certified Public Accountants, the American Subcontractors Association (ASA), and Construction Financial Managers Association (CFMA). He served as president for CFMA and on the boards of directors for both CFMA and ASA, Milwaukee Chapters. Jeff is a national instructor for CFMA, presenting seminars to groups in the upper Midwest.

Jeffrey D. Kuhnke, P.E., LEED AP

Project Executive, Senior HVAC Engineer

Jeff assists with the management and leadership of the design, estimating and project management teams. He is a member of Grunau's Lean Steering Committee; Lean is a construction philosophy that seeks to maximize value and minimize waste.

Jeff joined Grunau in 1989 as an HVAC engineer. In 1995, he took on a project management role, becoming thoroughly involved in engineering jobs from their design and development phase to completion.

Jeff graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a master's of business administration. He is a licensed professional engineer and member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).

Jeff passed the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) examination, recognizing him as an expert in green building techniques for new commercial construction and major renovation projects.


Ron Kwiatkowski

Vice President, Engineering Services

As vice president since 1993, Ron plays an active role in the procurement and construction of projects from start to finish. He is responsible for the final system design, equipment selection, cost, development of schedules, commissioning and start-up. He started with Grunau as a senior design engineer in 1976 before becoming a project manager in 1981.

Ron is a registered HVAC designer and a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers and the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).


Brad Landry

Brad Landry

Grunau Metals Division Manager

Brad oversees operation of the entire Grunau Metals team. He guides the specialty metals estimating, engineering, and project management activities, as well as shop and field operations. Brad is also actively involved in project management.

Before Brad joined Grunau Metals in 2007, he worked in the HVAC and steel industry for over 20 years. Additionally, he served in the U.S. Air Force for 8 years where he gained valuable experience of sheet metal fabrication as an Airframe Repair Technician.

Brad is a member of the National Ornamental and Miscellaneous Metals Association (NOMMA), American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), and Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC).


Chuck Neumeyer

Chuck Neumeyer

Vice President, Service Manager

Chuck joined the Grunau team in 1974 as an assistant project manager. From 1974 through 1991, he traveled throughout the country working on various projects and served as office manager and fire protection controller in our Florida branch. He subsequently was purchasing manager in the Milwaukee corporate headquarters and then promoted to service manager. As leader of Grunau's service team, Chuck supervises dispatch, sales and service technicians.

Chuck is a University of Wisconsin-Stout graduate with a bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology and a building construction concentration.

Chuck is a member of the Plant & Facilities Maintenance Association (PFMA) and Association for Facilities Engineering (AFE).


Mark Peters

Mark Peters

Vice President, FL Branch Manager

Mark joined Grunau in 1981 as a designer in the Pittsburgh office. Within two years, he was chosen as part of a team to open the Fire Protection office in the Central Florida market as the Design Manager. In 1994, he assumed the role of Branch Manager over a core group of six individuals and managed the growth to an office staff of over 20 team members. In 1999, he was honored with the appointment as Vice President of the Fire Protection division.

Mark graduated from Youngstown State University with an AAS in Engineering Technology. He achieved NICET Level IV certification in Fire Protection Engineering Technology and holds the license for fire protection in the State of Florida.

Mark is a member of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and National Fire Sprinkler Association (NFSA).


Eric Radke

Eric Radke

Milwaukee Fire Protection Manager

Eric has worked in the fire protection field since 1990. He joined the Grunau team in 1998 as a fire protection project manager. In 2004 he was promoted to Milwaukee Fire Protection Manager. He is actively involved in project management, and supervises the estimation and design of each fire protection job for construction and service. He also provides leadership to Grunau's sprinkler fitters in Wisconsin.

Eric is a member of the State of Wisconsin Apprenticeship Advisory Committee and a member of Grunau's Lean Steering Committee. Eric also holds a fire protection contractor license in the state of Wisconsin.


Randy Rubesa

Randy Rubesa

OH/PA Branch Manager

Randy joined Grunau in 1994 as a sales engineer/ project manager. He was promoted to branch manager of the Pittsburgh, PA fire protection division in 2004, and added management of the Youngstown, OH fire protection branch in 2010. Randy provides leadership to the OH and PA Grunau team members and oversees the operations for both construction and service work.

Randy graduated from the Youngstown State University Williamson School of Business with an AAB and a bachelor's degree in business administration.

Randy is a graduate of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and served as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Pittsburgh Local 542 Sprinkler Fitters Apprenticeship Committee since 2004.
