Grunau PA does much in their community to help those in need. This summer, Pittsburgh’s design department designed and built an outdoor planter for their neighbor, McGuire Memorial. This is an organization that provides comprehensive services to people with mental and physical disabilities (http://www.mcguirememorial.org/). The planter was specially designed so people in wheelchairs could plant and take care of the flowers.
Sincere Thanks
In appreciation, the center’s director presented Grunau with a framed and signed “Thank you” picture. That “thanks” is now proudly hanging in Grunau’s office in Moon Township, PA.
The planter box was well-spent time, money and effort for a good cause. Grunau employees had a strong sense of pride and accomplishment in this project. But more importantly, McGuire Memorial is now a happier place to see flowers on their porch and smiles on their people.
